DIA plant face to Mercadona supermarket with its new 'La Plaza'

The DIA group has launched a new format of supermarket with the name of the place, "in line with its strategy to continue betting on development of the purchase of proximity, with special attention to the fresh product". Leverages the purchase of 160 local to Eroski, most of which are located in Madrid and Andalusia, to bet more fresh products, as it has done its great rival in Spain, Mercadona, in recent years.
