TTIP opponents submit complaint with the European Union-Court of Justice

The citizens' initiative “stop TTIP” fights for its permission. After a rejection by the European Commission the alliance pulls now before the European Court of Justice.

Luxembourg - a European-wide alliance against the planned free trade agreements of the European Union with the USA and Canada inserted complaint with the highest European Union-court. The alliance turns against a decision of the European Commission, according to which a so-called European citizens' initiative does not become certified against TTIP.

Before the European Court of Justice (EuGH) in Luxembourg the opponents of the agreement want to reach now a permission of the citizens' initiative, communicated Michael Efler of “stop TTIP” on Monday. The complaint is directed according to the alliance against “the doubtful justified and obviously politically motivated” decision of the commission.

But in the past months was not to be read much property over the agreement, among other things the CDU of the public presented beautified numbers for the benefit of the agreement. There it can surprise that many further quite positively see German the agreement.
