Kelheim - which Bavarian state criminal police agency (LKA) has several days long a property in the district Kelheim scanned - and in a private shelter an illegal weapon arsenal discovers. A 59-year old electrician is to have hidden than 140 weapons as well as material in the cellar area even built more for explosive production.

The officials seized two fully automatic submachine guns, 80 long weapons, 60 hand-held weapons, approximately 20,000 shot ammunition, 20 kilograms of Nitrocellulosepulver and 20 kilograms of basic substances for the production of explosive. According to their own statements the man wanted to protect himself and its family in the “atomicsafe shelter” against possible attacks. He was afraid therefore obviously an attack of Russia.

The electrician put on also larger food supplies in the shelter and built an air and a water treatment plant. “There these areas were particularly stably built, had the investigators to heavy equipment to seize and among other things with drilling hammers of walls and grounds tear”, communicated the police. Referring to a psychological illness would not be present with the craftsman, it give no request for an accommodation.

To family conditions of the electrician the LKA spokesman expressed itself reservedly. The family, which the man wanted to protect against the Russian attack, lived still with it in the house. The members would have been however in the controversy with suspecting.
