Fourteen people have died and 42 have been wounded in the Saturday night in a
bus accident on the road of Calasparra, in the village of Cieza (Murcia),
following the fall of the vehicle by an embankment of about 15 meters, as we
were told by the emergency services. It is the third most serious accident in
Spain since 2000. Both fatalities as the wounded are neighbors of the small town
of Bullas Wine (in the Northwest of the Murcia region), where returning after in
Madrid to attend a religious act of devotion to the mother wonders. The regional
government has decreed this morning three days of official mourning.
About 40 passengers were transferred to different hospitals in Murcia, Cieza and
