A fire "uncontrollable" affects the plant of Campofrio in Burgos

A fire "uncontrollable" is affecting the plant of the meat industry of Campofrio in Burgos, as reported 112 emergency of Castile and Leon. The sources mentioned have clarified that the fire originated at 6.40 this morning in the area of cooked and have added that there is no injured. In addition, allocations of the firefighters of Burgos and the Airport of Villafria have moved to the place, where they are working against a "very dense smoke".

The dense smoke has forced to vacate houses in the neighborhoods of Capiscol, Cotar and cut the round of the capital beltway Burgos. The plant of Campofrio in Burgos was inaugurated in 1997 by King Juan Carlos, after an investment of EUR 60 million, although in 2006 the multinational returned to make improvements to the facilities at a cost of slightly more than five million euros.
